Bishop & Daughter Antiques is Susan Bishop and Darcy McGroarty and we are located in FL and PA. Having lived in the UK along with frequent visits over many years, we fell in love with this British folk art tradition along with the wonderful history that the figures and transferware represent.
The History Behind Our Antique Pieces
The bulk of these beautiful pieces were made from 1820 to the end of the 19th century in the Staffordshire region of Great Britain mostly by small businesses often with kilns in their backyards.
Collecting Staffordshire is always fascinating as these charming items represent a snapshot in time.
