Staffordshire Majolica Elephant & Castle Symbolic of the menagerie or zoo that existed in the Tower of London in late 18th & early 19th century this c.1860 figure in a tin glaze has fabulous colors & crisp details, 8"T nibble to left ear edge, restoration to one tusk & crenulations on the turret, excellent condition.
